Pen to paper- What’s my purpose here?

Hi readers, thank you for checking out my page! My name is Jessica and I have started a thing (insert slightly crooked smile that can only be accompanied with personal hesitation).

For a long time, really as far back as I can remember, I’ve had passion for reading and writing. These two hobbies truly bring me so much joy and I have had a very longstanding interest in exploring this area of my life. I want to be able to share this passion of reading and writing with others, sit through discussions, encourage others to read, explore new genres and authors and just put things to paper.

I have spent countless hours, and I truly mean an endless amount of time, in thought and contemplation. I’ve started planning then stopped planning, I’ve Google searched, watched ‘where to start’ You tube videos and bounced ideas off of friends and family so many times…. and as you can guess repeated this cycle more than once… twice… and even thrice!

This year, I decided to just do it. I’m jumping all in.

I don’t think that the universe clears all of our plates at once and I can’t possibly learn all these ins and outs of social media, blogging, vlogging, podcasting in one go around so I’m committing myself to this process. The process of learning, challenging my mind, being vulnerable and hoping that someday, I can encourage others to read, write or start their own thing by finding something that they love, are enthusiastic about, and brave enough to share with the world.

As I turn the final pages of each book that I read and put those books back on the shelf, I promise that here at Jessica’s Epilogue, I will do my very best to bring you the most honest, authentic, truthful, and insightful book reviews. Please accompany me on this journey. I ask for patience through my personal and professional growth, especially as I navigate and discover my purpose. Like any good book, what you start with in the beginning is not where you end, and I imagine my story will be action packed with all the emotions, the plot twists, character development and a few good genres.
